Cavite Declared Special Non-Working Day on March 22

The Office of the President has announced that March 22, 2024 has been declared a special non-working day in the province of Cavite. The day will be used to commemorate the birthday of Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the Philippines, who was born in Cavite.

This is not the first time that March 22 has been declared a special non-working day in Cavite. In 2021, former President Rodrigo Duterte also declared the day as a special non-working day in the province.
